CMR is proud to be a supporting broker for Hanover’s Holy Family School in this year’s Aviva Community Fund competition! The Aviva Community Fund is an annual competition that is changing Canadian communities by bringing great ideas to life. The most popular ideas, as determined by voters will have a chance to win a share of $1,000,000.00.
Currently, the small playground at Holy Family School has a large drainage problem, causing an unfortunate amount of mud in the spring, summer, fall and a slippery situation in winter. There are many times during the year when the yard is almost completely unusable. It is hoped that if we are successful in the Aviva Community Fund then the money can be used to build a new outdoor classroom and play area with an amphitheatre seating area where children would have a place to gather at recess, or as a class.
Thanks to great community support to date we are happy to say that this cause has qualified for the semi-finals and voting begins on December 1, 2014.
